Another day has started and the coffee will be ready is a minute or two. I talked with the friend that I've been fishing the Huron with and he fished there yesterday and took 9 fish that weighed between 5 and 11 pounds. On my last trip we took my boat and encountered some difficulty with the anchoring system. The rope wouldn't release properly to retard the downstream drift and we'd often be through the run before we could get the anchor set. I think I have all the problem resolved and am looking forward to my next trip. Hopefully we will have some temperatures nearing 50 again real soon.

The first year I went, my DH agreed to drive me and he did not think he would enjoy it very much. He has gone every year since. He was surprised that he had a great time.

I havent let my husband come because I didnt want adult supervision when it came to me buying and bringing home chickens..well, I tried to get him to come last year because Sam's smoked chicken is so good, I wanted him to try it but he was going out of town. I have not decided if I want adult supervision this year or not. lol

RaZ, it seems like I remember you brought several "honey's" with you to chickenstock last year.

Is that the plan this year?

Mom - What Opa is describing will not allow you to CROP, it will only allow you to make the picture bigger or smaller. As far as I know, unless this new format is different, you have to crop your picture in Photobucket or Picassa or some other photo storage site like that and then download the edited pic to BYC. At least that's how the old format was. If anyone figures out how to really edit pictures (cropping, red-eye elimination, etc.) please let us all know!!

We could crop our avatars......couldn't we? Now you have me questioning myself. Stop. Thats worse than not being able to crop.
Now I have to admit that maybe I don't know what I am talking about. hm.

sounds like a good time, Sam..I will help wish the 50 degree temps back, as well. Do you ice fish, Sam? MY husbands family loves to go ice fishing..too cold for me, and I am a big chicken (ha ha ha) going out on the ice.

Thank you Snowflake. When I get it perfected where I can hatch out a whole batch then I will hatch some for you if you want them.

I still can't find the white squares either. I think it may depend somewhat on the compatibility of your computer,lap top. Maybe if you move them from the avatar they will stay small? Haven't tried that.

I have been whining and complaining and trying and stressing to CROP my pictures...
and here you are saying there are white boxes?

When I click on my picture (in my profile) it turns BLUE. And it does NOTHING. If I right-click, I get the option to cut/save/send, etc..generic...
Tell me, tell me tell me...how do I get white squares to crop?
Type really slow though, because I am a slow learner.

Well the weather is pretty damp & wet here. I'll let the girls out to free range this afternoon. I feel bad for they haven't been out in a few days, just in their run. It's their fault....they don't like the snow.

Man, I've been sick and haven't been on in a couple weeks. They went and changed everything!

My nephew got pnemonia, then my brother in law got sick, Dr said it was pnemonia, then my sister got sick, went to Dr and they put her on meds. They didn't get much better so my sister and brother in law went back to Dr. and the Dr. told them they had Influenza!! My sister said we had the flu shot and the Dr. told her no matter, the shots were weak this time.

So I have been staying away from everybody.
