Hey everyone!

Rainy and chilly here today

I got spoiled by those few nice days we had!

I'm setting eggs today!

B/B/S orps, Denizli and a bunch of eggs from my Araucana, EE and RIR

Mine will be mutts most likely as they are all still running together

BUT.... if all goes well, I will have some Denizli and Mutt chicks to find homes for... anyone interested??

The roos I have:

Duckwing Araucana... rumpless/clean faced
Blue Ameraucana
Splash Ameraucana
Black Ameraucana
Blue Wheaton Ameraucana
La Fleche
Self Blue d'Uccle

Sooooo... you can see, it could be VERY interesting! LOL I have seen the Araucana hen (tailed and tufted) mounted by the Araucana and Ameraucana roos. So I am fairly confident that these will be nice EEs. I think my Frizzle is actually a Frazzle... if so, ALL of his offspring will be Frizzled.... and I have seen him mate the RIR on MANY occasions... so I think those could be cute!

I've seen mainly the Ameraucana roos mating the EE... so I'm hoping for some darling EEs to add to my EE pen

Hey everyone-

I got all the chickens delivered to their new homes. It was a cold muddy mess at the farm where we dropped off the baby roos. Didn't stop the kids from jumping on the horses and riding around bare back. Crazy kids, I must be getting old. It is to chilly and wet out there for me!

The dom trio went to Dh work. I am guessing that they never had a rooster crowing in there before! It was very funny!

Going to get eggs, stay warm and dry!

I put beef stroganoff in the crockpot yesterday and then SOMEONE (who is unamed at this point) decided he was hungry at 2 or 3 in the morn and just put the noodles and milk in and for just ONE bowl, so now the stroganoff sat all night and the sauce is almost slimey like and so are the noodles. Your suppose to put that stuff in when your ready to serve to EVERYONE! now theres nothing to eat. I cant even make PB&J!

I miss the smiley that had lighting bolts and a cloud over his head, he just seemed WAAAY more angry then these guys.

I just spent a hour trying to buy tickets for a surprise for Rachel birthday in June. I am taking her to the Keith Urban and Taylor Swift concert. So for $50 a ticket plus all the extra fees we get to sit behind the stage in the nosebleed seats. Cannot believe they can sell out so fast. I waited an hour after they went on sale, to get the kids out of my hair so I can do it with noone knowing

Off to see if they are all still alive in the house!

It is raining here...and muddy!
