I was going to go really high, but I don't believe you want to risk your neighbor having a meltdown again . . . . I'm just imagining 36 mallards all quacking at the same time. Or 36 mallards who refuse to leave and continue to fly back home each night, darkening the sky over your house and dropping bombs all over her patio furniture. Oh, I see Chicken Grandma and Bianca both won while I was messing around with my graphics! Congratulations!! I'm sure RaZ will bring your prizes to Chickenstock with him. Maybe some great honey??

It was me! I finally found one that was decent, after more than a year of searching. But there was no chocolate version. So i had to play, and this is what i came up with! Not for me! I was born on it, and to give you an indication of how unlucky i have been, the year that my DH and i almost got married on my birthday it hailed and snowed..... in October!

I keep going outside, pretending it isnt cold, then when i am frozen- I come back in to thaw out.
My four uggos are sparring. Making me think they are all boys- as Farmerboy said. HOWEVER, being in denial, I am hoping that they change sexes.
I will have to Craigslist them if they are.


I think I would like to start some seeds indoors...but I dont have a clue on how to get started. Or when. if I do it now, will they be long past time to transplant before it is actually safe to do so outside?

My pussywillow bush has buds on it, and there are leaves on my butterfly bush. I saw two robins the other day- but i KNOW that Spring isnt here yet. Im still waiting for the snow-storm to end all snowstorms to hit.
I think my frizzle may be going broody again.
I have eggs due to hatch on Saturday- my mutt-batch..and I have Showgirl eggs due to hatch on March 2nd. If my Frizzle proves that she is indeed going broody, I will put the Showgirls under her.

I have a pretty good idea. I couldn't figure out who put bubble wrap in my bed, then I realized it was just me getting out of bed.
If I had known that I would live this long, I would have taken better care of my self.

The "Guess RaZ Number" seems to have stirred some interest so I'll keep it going a bit longer. So far the wrong answers have been 6,10, 12, 18, 32 and "eleventy". So maybe this is more fun for me but I do like to stir things up a bit.

The honey I have left is last spring, so it's choke cherry, apple and mostly early blooming field flowers. But if you like it extra sweet, I can stir it with my finger.

WOW !....all those chicks. cut some pussy willows and bring them in the house, my friend would not add water so they would dry, or add water and let them root.

Fuzzybut love, just spent some time on the recipe site, copied some recipes. look good,. I thought your cake recipe was GREAT..better then boxed. i made 2 bags to use later. Although may give one to daughter when she comes up Sunday.


Just because I think it is so cool, ,,, my son in laws grandmother will be 100 on March 15, she is sharp as a tack, and gets around well, uses a walker cause she feels a little unstable, went into a retirement home a couple yrs ago cause she was afraid of falling. and she lived alone. She is awsome!!
