Here is the link to the group of scientists that are studying salamanders.

Dr. Bogart gave a great talk last semester. Katie Greenwald is a professor at EMU. You gotta love a gal who likes slimy critters.

Don't get jealous everyone back in Michigan but I am in Florida its cloudy but still 74 nice an warm. Now to go to the beach

Don't worry, I am not jealous. It is in the mid 40s here and I will take that rather than it being colder.

I mentioned having a duckling the other day. Now I've got 9 little Muscovies. Here are a couple photos. She's sitting on the rest.

Her nest is on the dirt floor of my coop under the heat lamp.

Lovely ducklings. :love If my flock get negative on MG, then I will breed my pair of Muscovys. :fl This is my pair-

Babigyrl, adorable dogs. Don't know why my FIL calls that breed a Bit*hin Frisbee?

HAHAHA! I've never heard of that. I could have 20 bichons except for the fact that they'd all want to be in my lap at the same time. It's hard enough with just two and yes, if one is in my lap the other one must be too.

oooh, the gray one is really pretty! I've never seen one that color.

You're going to have to fill me in.. MG? Is this something I need to know about?

I set the mutts free today. Wow do they get around! Roger was standing a few feet away from them crowing big time. The big girls and the so handsome that there is no award good enough for him, Mr. Fluffers did not pay them any mind. Lol.

I need to marry a mechanic... No, I just need to steal one, lock em up in the basement with cable tv, beer, and food. Take him out when I need him. I had to do a brake job. No problem. I ended up having to take it to a shop. Couldn't be simple. I can do simple on my own. Turns out, I needed new cylinders, pins, rear lines and the darn drums too. So much for just replacing the shoes and hardware... I didn't want to spend that money... Oh. Well.

Anyone want to come live with a control freak? And by that, its gotta be my way and I am always right. Lol.

Kimmie - yes! I am jealous! But have fun anyway~

Swampducks - beautiful babies! I had no idea baby muscovies were that cute! Thanks for the photos! You can look up MG on BYC. It is a respiratory illness that we currently cannot cure when our flocks get it. It becomes a chronic problem for the flock and is highly contagious so an infected flock puts the wild birds and the other chickens in the community at risk, even after the flock has been treated and the symptoms have disappeared.
