. They had some pretty good sales going on too. The bad thing is when you walk in the door, you can hear 'em peeping all the way from the back - just calling for you to come ooh and aah them. (They also had a "pound puppy" in there. Her name is Sunshine and she looked soooooo sad. She looked like a black and tan)

Ok everyone tell me to take a deep breath and relax it will all be O.K. I sent a check to someone on backyard chickens for an incubator She said she was going to try tosend it out on Monday but Tuesday at the latest. I have not heard from her yet. She sent me a pm when she got my check and a couple of times after. but I also have not seen her on here. Should I worry?

Take a deep breath! Hopefully she got busy... it seems everything that can happen to people has been happening lately... so hopefully she's just too busy to get back with you or maybe your correspondence has been lost in transit. I know sometimes emails I'm waiting for get kicked over to spam. Possibly she is waiting for the check to clear... some banks can take a long while to do this.

Hope you get your bator soon! Do you already have eggs?

Well here's something that you can do this 2 eggs or 4 if you double the recipe.

Sugar Cloud Cookies

In a large bowl sift together
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda

Mix together
2 sticks butter melted then cooled
2 eggs
8 oz sour cream
2 tsp flavoring extract of choice lemon, anise, almond, etc (Hope uses lemon

Mix well and add flour mixture
Refrigerate at least 2 hours
The form into walnut sized balls, roll in powdered sugar
Bake in 400 degree oven for 12 minutes or until light brown on bottom

Its a good day for baking cookies. So windy and cold out there it is almost hard to breath! Yet the chickens are still outside running around. Crazy! Most of them are staying in the coop, but a few are out looking for treats!
I think I will go make those cookies! The kids will be thrilled! Thanks Opa!

YUMMY-Printed a copy. My favorite extracts are vanilla and almond. A St. Paddy's party is coming up. Might have to bake.
