Just think in a couple weeks you'll have almost triple what I have!! That's quite a list you have hatching.Taprock, your place looks so different without 30 or 40 chickens running around![]()
That makes me feel a little better. The vet told me in small numbers the chickens don't even notice them. But I do and I hate them! I finally noticed a big drop in how many there are. Now that they are spending most of the day out of the coop it makes it easier to keep it under control. I had the Adam's brand recommended to me by some one else also, I'll have to try it.We also accepted mites as a permanent part of living in the tropics and did not try to erradicate them totally. Just kept the birds comfortable.
Can you sedate a chicken so they are calm or do they just fall off the roost? Now I'll have to box up the chickens Thursday night and find a place to hide them![]()
And don't forget No we did NOT turn coyotes out either. No it was not a bobcat. It is not possible to have a bobcat. Nope, it was just a very large domesticated cat. Just ask DNR. And no, thats not a cougar either.
Welcome Melody.
