I am in Grand Rapids. Wish I could find a group home or retirement home where I could still visit and care for them. Just can't get them near my son, he is so allergic to them.

Candled my Easter hatch eggs, pulled 16 (17%) of the ones set for that hatch - and 89 of the 92 eggs I set were shipped!! I followed Aveca's shipped egg instructions and I am so pleased with how well they are developing, especially compared to last year when I had such poor shipped egg hatches. I am a convert for sure. I have 116 eggs total in my incubators, and pulled a total of 23 (19%) of them, with 11 coming from 2 shipments that were both very slow in arriving. Excluding those 2 shipments, I have only culled 12 (13%) of my shipped eggs. Wow.

I had 7 eggs under each of my barney. 5 developed under each at canoeing time. Both panties and large eggs.

Mom2Em-hope you will be able to figure out a diet that will agree w/ you. My grandma had her gall bladder removed and she experienced a lot of the same things you are experiencing.

No, I did not think of giving her vitamins. I am thinking maybe duck yolks since they are bigger? And what sucks is, I just gave all my banty eggs away. So again,only one silkie egg. I am going to go crazy if she does the broody crap again. Lol. I wish I could just de-worm with the de-wormer you use for dogs. I am going to cat carrier her fuzzy butt for a few hours to get a solid from her for the FEC tomorrow.
