Just wanted to say thanks for everyone who provided suggestions on candling today. All good information. Think I might just candle a couple of the light eggs and leave the rest to day 10 as Opa suggests. Have to do a couple... too excited not to try and see something! And when it comes time for the little ones to hatch out, I will do my very best not to interfere. Let nature do what nature does. Although it does kinda seem like we are playing with nature by incubating the eggs in a box rather than under a chicken as it would be naturally. I do want strong chicks tho so will let the ones who survive earn it.
