Okay banty pictures to see if anyone knows a friend of a friend of a friend who needs some banties in their yard or in their 4-H group..these little buggers were avoiding me like crazy- and I look down, and my cat was following me around..lol.

I may have to let a couple of my FBCM's go. I have to check with a friend of mine first, but if she doesn't want them is anybody out there looking to get into FBCM's? I have a 3 year old roo and a 11/2 yr old hen. I have hatched chicks out of.these two, so the roo is still fertile and she still lays 5 days a week. Would make somebody a nice starter pair.

If your friend doesn't want your FBCMs, perhaps I would be interested in the pair. I would love to get some of those dark brown eggs! Are you planning on being at Chickenstock? I am not even sure I will be there, but I plan to be if at all possible.

Anyone got any good cough remedies? Besides ODing on cough suppressant (which I've taken, with little difference). I'm coughing my lungs out here, and can't seem to calm it for very long. Mint tea with honey soothed for a few minutes, a hot steamy bathroom made no difference. Going crazy coughing, I'm willing to try anything!

Do you have Vicks rub? Or a pharmacy nearby to get the plug-in vicks

oh! Are the two in the second to last picture considered blue? Then the last picture is a little roo..same color. Nice little trio.
I will hold them and bring them to Chickenstock for you! Because I think you are nowhere near me...unless you are near my bunny..then perhaps we can make a chicken/rabbit train with all the people that live in between..

Stacykins, I know it sounds crazy but it has worked for my boys and myself, put vicks on the bottoms of your feet and put socks on. Thought it sounded weird but was desperate so gave it a try and it worked.

Stackykins - warm honey and cinnamon. I think She said a tsp of cinnamon to a tbsp of honey. Good luck, and hope you feel better soon!

Stacykins- I took my son to the doctor yesterday. He had pneumonia! It was bacterial (community pneumonia/walking pneumonia) so you may need an antibiotic, even without a fever!
Do you have a med center near you that is open this late? If so, ZITHROMAX is what they gave us to treat this MYCOPLASMA infection! Does that sound like something our chickens get or what????????? No, we did not get it from chickens.... it does not cross species. Z-PACK is what the doctor called the antibiotic. And I am giving my son a probiotic too.
Someone told us that a teaspoon of whiskey mixed with a teaspoon of honey works. Keeping you in my prayers! Let us know how you are.

Oh cool. How many are there? Chickenstock would be cool as I am about 12 miles north of Albion. Where is your bunny located ?
