Post your truffle recipes :D I love truffles and can't stand paying $3 a piece for them!

Speaking of cooking I need to make granola bars tonight, make a list of stuff I need to make scones, and plan out a night to make pretzels in exchange for sewing.

Poppy seed polenta baking in the oven, creamy potato soup just beginning to cool down in the stove, laundry in the wash, dishes done... gosh, what do I do?

If you hurry, you can beat Sarah before she get here to do chores.
Many hands make for light work...while I watch TV.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, that I will (hopefully) finish a blog post with the truffle recipes and directions tonight if I have the chance, otherwise probably tomorrow, and I will link that up since a couple of you were interested. I only have a couple minutes here and there before the kids go to bed, so if I write posts longer than a few sentences you can go ahead and guess that I have gone and come back to them at least a few times before managing to post them. So I will wait until the kids are in bed before trying to get the truffle thing down, I have to find my random scraps of paper that I took notes on, and sort things out, as I was just a little bit making things up as I went along and hoping it all worked out.

They did work out though!

Mostly it was the coconut truffles I was really unsure of, and they actually came out my favourite. I won't claim I am the greatest cook ever, but I feel secure enough to play around.

Oh, speaking of which!! Yesterday I made a semi-veganised version of these quinoa burgers, (I still used eggs, just substituted for the dairy products,) and they are flippin amazing! I don't know if anyone else is constantly looking for new ways to use eggs, lol, but I am, and I would very highly recommend these. She notes that she used zucchini once when she didn't have carrots, I used both instead of one or the other, (and made a double batch, half are in the freezer,) and also added in an avocado. I loved them, the kids loved them, sent them to work with DH today, and I will be very surprised if he doesn't love them, too.

Nova - Cute! P.S. WAY better than the morningstar or bocca burgers.

Ladyfeather - Snap! I have been meaning to make some granola for some time now, I just haven't gotten it done. It's a favourite of the kids for sure. I just make a loose granola, though, what do you do to make bars?
