Tats are very common. Is it on the left ear ( it should be). Usually they are made at weaning. Sometimes the number only means a birth date, or which litter it came from. There is no universal system for tats. Good luck finding an owner though. Only implanted chips really have any chance. These are used for tracking purposes in rabbits, as well as other animals. My wife should chip me, ha ha! Next litter you are getting a Flemish. I'm holding one of the girls from this batch "just in case" I make it to this Chickstock thing. Craigslist the LOP unless you fall in love with him/her, lol! We'll be talking. I'll PM you if anything comes up - you do the same! Johnawwww
Its okay- I am a firm believer in fate and whats meant to be. You sold all your babies and someone brought me a lop today with a tattooed ear that was found as a "stray". She is beautiful. Not the kind of bunny I wanted, but then again, I rarely get to pick out the kind of any animal that I want (even had to create my own Uggos).
I have no idea what the tattoo in her ear means- it says BF 3 or Maybe its an 8 or maybe its another B. Anyone know what it means?
No idea how old she is, or if she is bred/spayed/not . Her coat is so clean and shiny and spectacular.
Anyhow she is extremely tame, and can be handled with no problems.
