Morning all, big change in the weather. Fell asleep in my recliner and woke up this morning feeling like a block of ice.
Yesterday I went to finish up a job and the homeowner hadn't completed what he was susposed to get gone now I've got to make yet another trip to their house. Sure get hard to make a living some times.

On the upside, their not being ready meant that I was home much earlier and got to work on my garden fence. It has become a very expensive project. By the time I'm finished by desire to raise it 18" is going to cost $350. I probably should have just clipped the wings on the birds that have been flying out. Oh well, I've never established a history of doing the smartest thing.

Coffee is ready. Anyone care for a cup of dark roast?

I know what you are saying Sam in regards to homeowners not getting their end ready, been there too. You just smile and go about something else......now if they have to wait for you!, that's a horse of a different color.

I'll take a cup of that dark roast please.

I was sure hoping for some nice weather this weekend, I had some outdoor duties I wanted to get at. A friend gave me some of those hoops he had left over from his greenhouses, I may have to go get them, at least the truck will be warm for the trip. Judy and I have always wanted a greenhouse.

I just came in from outside and it feels like Christmas can't be to far off.

Morning all- I havent read the other posts yet. I just wanted to say I do not recommend sleepover partys for pre-teen girls when the hostess parent is over 40.

all night long....and only twice did I get up and tell them they needed to quiet down. Once at 2 am and once at 330. Ive been up since five thirty trying to find the bottom of my house.

I spent wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much money on this party, but they made some fun memories.

I got my d'anver quail something eggs in the mail yesterday, just now put them in the incubator.

It is 48 degrees outside right now, but the wind is blowing...I hear we may get snow.

Morning everyone!

One big girl cup of dark roast please, I was up way to many times peeking in the bator!

Cyrstal-you are a chicky momma! Their are 3 little bantams in their, still wet, but cute. I am hoping those dark ones hatch too!

It is getting crazy in there! Can I take out the babies that are all dry and fluffy? and put them in the brooder? I know you are not supposed to open it, but its a small playground for so many chicks!

Good Morning! Looks like a good day to curl up and read a book or watch old movies on TV! Have a good one.
Steve, any SLW look like roos yet? Think I have two of them!

Had to get up early to put some bantam Colombian cochin eggs into the hatcher. I am sooooo excited about these. It took me forever to find a breeder, and I had just a horrendous experience with their shipping. Out of 18 eggs, only 6 weren't scrambled...and they've done great. Please send those good hatching vibes my way. I really want to get a good hatch from these.

It's pretty warm here...at least I think it is. Anything above freezing is great to me. I still haven't completely adjusted to this Michigan weather...don't think I ever will.

Hope everyone has a great day!
