Personally I would pay someone to help build a coop next time since my husband works so danged much.

Raz: How big are the ducks now? A couple weeks? Mine have just exploded in growth, burning through food fast.

Have hammer, will travel.

Three ducks are 11/12 weeks, four are 2/3 weeks and the newbie is about a week old.

I was doing volunteer work at Matthaei all day, so I haven't got any fresh pictures. I'll be sure to post a page or 2 tomorrow.

CG- I read that book. It made me cry once or twice.

Thank you to all who responded about my 2 isa pullets. They are still doing ok and acting normal. I tried to get a few photos of the injuries, but those 2 weren't for it and only got one semi-decent shot that I pm'd Olive. I'm not sure what caused the holes, but I looked over their pen and saw nothing that would have been sharp or pokey to cause it which is why I still think it may have been the pen-mates. CG mentioned about putting new chicks with older would cause an issue, but these girls where with their original brooder mates so I'm clueless as to why they would have been picked on all the sudden. Anyway, I did treat and blu-cote. So far, so good.

It still gives me a case of the ickies, though, every time I think of it....

Nova- I love the coop house. Great job.
Also, I know this subject is a bit old now, but I don't respond to anything I know nothing about. I especially don't respond to anything when deliberately goaded.
