If some of those porcelain d'uccle's hatch I would be more than happy to buy some from you. What did you say when he said that? UGH, I hate when officials make stupid rules. What about the squirrels? Should you tell them all the nuts are next door?
I missed it, too...

I know!!!! I think we should find her and throw her in!!! At the end I was like "RUN CHICKEN RUN!!!!! SHE IS GONNA DO IT AGAIN!!! RUN!!!"That lady... I can't believe she threw her chicken in the pond... That's just messed up. I don't care if chickens can swim... I figure if they want to, they will, but why the hell are you going to throw her in just so you can get a youtube video for poops and giggles? I didn't think it was funny... but that is just me.
Hmm. Interestingly enough, we do have eagles located nearby. DH saw them quite often last year and thinks they live in the area around the lake a bit behind us. I guess I'll just have to keep the binoculars handy so the next time I can see them better and be able to tell what the birds are. Thanks for everyone's input, though, as it gives me more knowledge as to the various types of birds I might have seen.Teeville - Juvenile Bald Eagles are dark brown (no white head -- they're actually very ugly birds until about 5 years old) and would match the larger wing span your DH saw.
I suppose it would depend on who you asked. I wound up with 9 roos last year. 7 bantams, 2 standard. My ee & RIR tolerated each other at first, but then ee kicked rir butt. RIR is gone now, but we have a BR now that ee is just starting to tolerate. I had 2 oegb bantams that were mean to the others so they got rehomed and after that the remaining 5 bantams chummed around everywhere with the 3 girls. Unfortunately, I lost all of those roos.So I'm in a conundrum about my bantams. I am pretty sure I'm going to end up with both my d'uccle chicks being roos. And I have a sneaking suspicion my polish and a couple silkies are roos too. Do you suppose they will all live happily ever after together or am I going to need to find homes for some? Darn this roo-itis seems to be viral!![]()
Nice work. Tap. (Looks like EMAW found that missing "r")
I'm pretty sure that I have gotten old. If fact when God created the world in six days, I think I may have been sitting on the couch next to him when he rested on that 7th day.Opa - Thanks! It's been years since I had a Grandpa, nice to have one again, even if I am not actually sure you are much older than my father, lol.
