You misunderstood...

I said someone grow one FOR me...

and I have nine potential porcelain roos in the incubator as we speak, lol...

I can hook you up..you create one of those up there, and give me a pullet.

Deal?

Or even one of these...

Look at this ones polka-dots!!
That is a great camo plumage! I'll take two! One roo and one hen, lol! Seriously - pics tomorrow of the Flemish (not sure she'll be a giant but she'll be a heartbreaker!).

she wont be a giant? Did you shrink her? Is she harboring some Britannia Petite gene?

I will wait patiently.

Hey guys what's new? Been busy lately and haven't really been online at all. Have I missed anything profound?

Started my new job last week so I don't have internet at my fingertips all day like I did at the other job lol...it's good so far, I'm liking it. Chickens are getting big, still only the one is crowing at me, so maybe the other one is a female, but we'll see. Hope everyone is doing well.

Oh no, I understood...you're torturing me by making ME want one of those too.

Let me see if I can figure out how you "make them"... I love genetics and researching things.

I really wanted another porcelain pullet...not two roos and one pullet. Grrr!

How old will they be? You just set them right? Sooo.... only a couple weeks old? Good lord...My DH is going to tar and feather the both of us! Good thing we have enough feathers! I wouldn't turn down and Uggo. I almost feel like it's an initiation deal.

Well, I'm off to pluck my two, 1 month old RIR and BA from the bantam coop and sneak them into the 2 monthers coop. We'll see how this goes. I'll breathe easier when I see all is well in the morning. The bigger chicks tolerate them during the day when I put them all together but I AM supervising.

argh...headache...was squinting too much out in the sun today. Got a bunch done and soooo much more to do. We bought the lumber and ect that we need to finish the coop so we'll be working on that this weekend. Love all the pictures posted today :)

Opa - Thanks! It's been years since I had a Grandpa, nice to have one again, even if I am not actually sure you are much older than my father, lol.

Taprock - Happy Birthday! The tractor looks terrific!

Nova - Yay for finishing the job you wanted to be done with, boo for losing a chick. :(

SO, going to trade him good yum yum for some grass....

People with grass often desire yum yums.

Well, 4 of the 5 of Skeeters eggs have hatched successfully. Only 3 are left.

Is this what they call chicken math? Is it, like.. math done by chickens?

I managed to get a few things done here, after playing with the chickens and ducks.

Looks really nice, Raz, I agree though, I would try to swap the two on the left, or at least the second one in.

It does not matter how many nest boxes you have does it????

I don't think so, I had a double for my 5 layers, and I just upped that to a triple since we will have 10 laying, but so far they have only ever used 1, heh. We'll see what happens when the little ladies start laying.

Ooooooh, now those are pretty!!

Hey guys what's new?

Welcome back! Ask Nova, I hear she loves doing summaries. :)

i am too darn tired to even try to do a summary... LOL. My brain has totally fried. today, and I barely am able to remember the last 21 post I read.

And yes, that is a form of chicken subtraction...

My meat birds seem to have doubled in size already... is that possible? they are 3 days old...

I need to get the mud out. I did a bunch of transplanting, so i am filthy. I pulled a Juise and took my shoes off. My grass is nice and thick and soft right now, so it was a nice thing, BUT, I didn't pull a Juise and get chicken chit between my toes I look where I walk!
