Hubby called me from work this morning and busted me sitting inside the brooder with the little beepers ...

I was just checking them to make sure they were all, umm, eating, and drinking, and beeping, and pooping, and warm enough, but not too warm, and maybe snuggling them just a little bit.

Hello there.

Anything exciting going on? I am just marking time until I have to pick up kids, run to the bank, pick up other kid from soccer, eat dinner, go to dog 4-H then come home and collapse from exhaustion!!

MJ---please share recipe if it's a good one!! Melissa gave me some Amish Sour Dough Potato starter and I "fed" it last night and mixed up the dough today. It's has been rising since 8am and doesn't look like much action is going on. It guess if it doesn't rise I can sip the starter and forget all my troubles------that stuff smells just like moonshine must.

Hello Everybody....i am on my second bottle of tanning lotion...chickens keep knocking mine over...every time i pick up the aluminum face tanning thing, they come running to the sun reflecting off it...o0h well, too hot to lay in the sun all day , anyway....guess i'll go weed the garden...

I have a child who displays some autistic tendencies, something like Aspergers, but not severe. However, this child tends to call 'em as he sees 'em without really thinking about feelings... it's not helpful socially when he corrects people, and if you're short, tall, fat or skinny, he's bound to say something and not "get" why that might be considered rude. It's not like I haven't tried to explain why we don't say certain things, even if they're true... but it is still embarrassing when something gets said in public that *tact* keeps most of us from saying out loud!
