I didn't know your house was big enough to have "wings".

Sometimes I REALLY wish it did LOL. These idiots around here are like REAL IDIOTS !!! If you are not born in this area then you don't belong and they make darn sure you know that too. I do not associate with one single person out here and I've lived here for 32 years. The people out here are all waaay off in left field.

M.Sue... what time do you let your alarm clock out? I don't let Mr. Fluffers out until 9 am. He is housed in the inside part of the coop, so even though you can hear him, the people across can not. We are AG here also, but the people across the street are residential. I don't like to irritate them to much. HEHE. SO, I think 9 am is a fair trade off for that. And I have only heard one person complain about all the dang roosters. That would be my mom. LOL. There are currently 5 crowers at the moment... and 2 of those are actually not mine.

My uncle came today. Gave him the little banty cockerel for the slow cooker. He's just passed his 18 months to live mark. YEAH! He has liver damage, and is not a candidate for transplant.

More prayers are needed for my sister. The last surgery has not fixed the problem. This time they are doing a full open cavity surgery. She has been on a bile bag for nearly 6 weeks now. The bile that is leaking is starting to cause internal damage, and she ended up consulting a different doctor with her case. The doc that did the initial surgery, and then the last surgery, told her that she just needed to get up and move around to build up her stamina. Her heart rate at resting has not come down out and is clocking 106 when she is just laying there. She's dropped another 10 pounds, and is complaining because her bra's are no longer necessary, and were already padded, but now can not even find one to fake it, and unable to control her body temp... She'll be sweating bullets when its 65 degrees and she's doing nothing... Well anyway, I need to sign advocate papers tonight. Her doctor is doing a dye test through her liver to try and find the leakages, so he knows what he is going to be up against when he goes in there. She may end up having to go to the other side of the start if Spectrum here can not do the dye test. UGH! But now she's officially moved back into a life threatening situation. Crazy no longer describes this situation.

At least you sell the sheep. I didn't realize you had two of the dirty H words, too! LOL! We got down to just one two winters ago and then finally put the old gelding down last year just after X-Mas. DD has been persistent in her quest for a replacement ever since, but I'm holding out.

We do have the alpacas but they barely eat anything. I could get behind Alpaca farming. LOL!

Well and the gray lamb... I guess... though I haven't heard from them and I think this week is weaning week so we'll see...

Hey, when we talked before I didn't ask you... are all your sheep hair sheep? Didn't really think about it, but since I want fiber it might not work if they are....
Ya we have 2 that are real old and will be here until they die. I do have like 3 sheep that are wool sheep but I don't breed them. All my other stock is hair sheep. Not good if you want wool hahahaha

If I were Raz, I'd figure out how much money it would cost to replace the plants, trees and food from the veggies, along with his labor. time and other expenses, and sue his Astrix for i!!

but then again.. I'd look funny in a beard...

X 2 on that one. I have fruit loops for neighbors also. I ignore the silly idiots but they never come down here and threaten me or my animals either. But then, I do live on the east wing of the asylum LOL

Olive, I think you're spot on!

There are laws regarding how close you can be to a dwelling, while shooting a firearm and the direction shooting toward... etc.. but those are details I guess. Basically, she'll be looking at felony charges if she wants to be that stupid!

Don't let the insane one get the upper hand, I know you already talked to the zoning guy.. but honestly, I believe she escalated it already by threatening with a gun, makes it worse (hopefully she doesn't have one)... I'd call the police and talk to them about it to see if you should file a report against her.

This is also something that I will do.....I will have what ever I can reported/documented.

He is inside the coop also all night. I usually let him out in the summer anywhere between 6:45 and 7:45....that time works well for me as far as getting my morning routines done, kids up & off and whatever. Winter I never got out there till about 7:30 - 8:00. This whole area is AG....no residential near by!

More prayers are needed for my sister. That poor girl, how much more can her body take?? Prays on the way!!

Already did that against Crabby for the damage she did to my front yard last fall and this spring.

Tomorrow is court day and while I'm there, I think I'll let the building department know about their second bathroom and gas fireplace that were never included on the building permit.

Olive brings up a very good point, liability. I wouldn't advise anyone to hold it on their property. Also I don't think advertising our picnic on Craiglist or any other site is a good idea. We want the folks that are involved with us on BYC. You'll have people coming just to get a free lunch.

If it's not allowed to be public, then why on this year's flyer here on BYC does it say print it out and take it to your local grainery? I met a few people who had never heard of BYC so was I supposed to turn them away?

If that's the case then it should be on someone's private property.
