I know my birds dont have cocci. Mine are all on medicated feed and I have no bloody stools. Was it Keyt and Eric? I think they had thier birds in the round pen.
LOL, it is for people who just need a skim! Besides how would you find it HERE if there are a but load of pages? Then I'd have to repeat myself ALOT, and don't I already talk to much?Wouldn't it make sense to keep the run down here? Where we all already check in?![]()
Please don't make me try to remember one more thing...![]()

I like the run-down.https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/683427/novas-weekly-michigan-run-down
All righty then... Here is the weekly run down. Its short. LOL
Yep, I know what cocci is and I know it's treatable but I also know my birds don't have it.Cocci is a lot like worms. Birds in the same flock can have varying loads and/or reactions to its presence. Your medicated feed would go a long way to prevent its effects from being felt in your flock as well so even if you bought birds from someone who sold another bird that died or had complications from it you would probably not see anything there. The medicated feed would act as a treatment and preventative from the day you started them on it.![]()
