Oh ya Olive - My friend says she will have a black wool lamb for you next year.

Woot!

That reminds me, they didn't call this week about the grey lamb...

ETA: Also didn't mean to imply you didn't know about cocci. I meant to be more of an add-on post for anyone who was wondering or worrying, not a rebuttal. Just because you had birds with Keyt's (if that's the origin and if you did) doesn't mean all the birds in the pen would go away from that day with cocci and if other people bought birds from you (or even to some extent -- though somewhat lesser-- if they bought other birds from Keyt that aren't showing symptoms) they needn't necessarily worry. :)

Several days ago, someone posted about a supplement that reduced odor from their skunk's waste. They found it on Amazon but I forgot who mentioned it and I've forgotten the name of the product.

Can you re-post or PM me please?

You need to get right on that lamb and I knew what you was saying LOL. I just don't want certain people pm'ing other people if someone gets birds from me like they do Jerry from Ada. I'm not into that kind of thing. It's not right and so I just want no mistakes made here with my birds.
BTW - Just got supper over with. You? Hahahaha

I've got to call them on Monday anyway... I'll have to remind them then. Better not have already taken it to market! LOL! (I think I'm safe, think the next lamb pool is next month...)

And you're baaaaaaad! No, I'm not just getting supper over with.

My ham roll-up is sitting here on the desk next to me.

I'm probably just being rude and inconsiderate though, you know. I just LIKE not eating until it's a whole new day.

LOL Too funny. Been building fence and didn't get done (again ) until late. Most people are in bed by midnight but nooooot me. I'm having supper at midnight LOL. Oh well, the times on the farm. ( Quit being rude and inconsiderate ) hahahahaha

At least it was a lot cooler out there tonight than it was last night. What kind of fences you building?

Yes it is much cooler. Sheep fence and chicken fence. Building a fence to a new pen. After that one is done my Silkies are getting a new one.

Sounds like a blast. Heh. I think making fences may be one of my least favorite things... maybe.

Coffee is on and looks like another warm day with a "slim" chance of storms is forecasted. I watched the sky darken late yesterday but inspite of our need it passed us by without shedding a single drop of rain.

I worked in my shop yesterday building a bed platform for one of Hope's granddaughters and just a couple of hours of working left me in a highly "glowing" state. I need to do a little sanding and filling of nail holes and then it's done. I also repaired a small deacons bench for her. Rather than having a lid it has a drawer and one of the drawer glides was broken as well as the seat (top) having stripped screws to hold it on. At supper I told Hope that it was done and she asked what type of hinges had I used on the lid. I doesn't need hinges but since Hope was insistent I hurried went back to the shop and pried the lid back off. Later when I talked with her son I found out that there had been a breakdown in communication and I had been right. So this morning I need to reattached the lid.

Coccidia as Olive stated is caused by worms and can be fatal to you flock. I'd recommend picking up some Sulmet and treating them as soon as possible. Two tablespoons per gallon of water is the recommended dosage.

Raz, not sure if this is the product you were looking for but it is an extremely effective odor eliminator.
