Good Morning Everyone,

Mom2....what a bummer about your dinner last night. I hate when something like that happens. Like when they forget to place your order and you're sitting & sitting, waiting, wondering wth is taking so dang long......one can have only so many drinks on an empty stomach.

We are taking my MIL to a family reunion today out in the thumb past Caseville. Not really looking forward to it because I won't know a soul except for my kindergarten teacher who is my husbands 2 cousin or something I believe. I highly doubt there will be many kids at this gathering for all the so-called kids for this reunion are all grown adults themselves.....in their late 50-80's. So I will be down at the beach area with mine most of the time.

Mom2, get some charcoal from the health food store ASAP. I have 2 words I'd use, but they are not site appropriate, but what the hey... I will use the kid friendly version... Dumb donkey! Lol, you kept eating it? Man, you musta really wanted that crab!
Anyway, the charcoal will absorb the poisons.

not really kept eating it...just had it masked with butter..three bites. one leg, and one bite- however you want to word it. Because I had to decide, is this bad or is it just badly cooked...no, its definitely bad..

I remember!!! She bought five from me then said that she would trade one. She don't get on here very much because of illnesses. Her hubby was with her. They had the birds in a round pen with Robins birds.

Yes, it was me. Please don't assume something is my fault! Are you sure it's not something else? Our birds are just fine...seriously...anyone is welcome to come look! I invite anyone to come look! That chick was with 8 others since they hatched and not a single one of them showed signs of illness and still don't.

Well, our little family ran another 5k this morning!

We all finished pretty well and I think bested our times from the one at the beginning of the month. Later this afternoon DH and I are off to a "couples challenge". Our friends put this on and we've been invited this year so I've no clue what to expect but there is a lot of trash talking and fun to be had I'm sure.

You need to get right on that lamb and I knew what you was saying LOL. I just don't want certain people pm'ing other people if someone gets birds from me like they do Jerry from Ada. I'm not into that kind of thing. It's not right and so I just want no mistakes made here with my birds.

By the way, the marans we got from you are doing fabulously!!! The boys named the girls Charlotte and Virgina(don't ask me...lol) and the Roo is Marley. They are so cute with their little peeps they still have. A bit skittish still but they are integrating pretty well with the bantam crew.

Just caught up reading posts. It was a long day yesterday, nothing interesting with chickens. My son did have his guinea pigs put down. A nice vet makes a big difference! He managed but was teary and then a bit more when we buried them. They now have a lovely headstone on our side of the cemetery fence. My niece who has lived with us 3 years came home yesterday. She is 18 and as soon as school was done she went with her boyfriend down state for a visit. Now 2 months later after hearing nothing we sent her an email that we were making plans without her for July so she was on her own for the time we would be camping. She came home the next day and now expects everything will be as normal. Sleeping in, no job, and us taking her to her boyfriends all the time. And I have the great joy to be the tough parent.

Today is farmer's market for me, DH and son are driving an old jeep in a small parade, and then we are off to the St. Ignace car show. Enjoy your day everyone!

I'm sorry, give your sweet little guy a big hug from us all.

M2M - What a horrible dinner experience. I'm sorry it was ruined but yucky crab. Also, your chicks are doing great too. I swear that dark brown one and the Uggo are an item. They never leave each others side. I threw some strawberries out to them today and the uggo snatched on up and gave it to the dark one. The uggo is a roo, right?
