Finally a nice sunny warm weekend. Plan on working on the coop for the new chicks and the ones that are due to hatch next weekend. Then the wife and I are FINALLY going to get our Harleys out and enjoy a nice ride up to the Yale hotel for a burger.
Welcome Hillbillyhen! We have distant family in Newaygo. My MIL's cousin, Kathy, I believe. I cannot keep up with who is who.
Off to get everyone around for homschool classes in Brighton today.
Oh we got to experience the joys of community ed last night. Hubby and daughter drove around for 40 minutes trying to find the field that they were practicing at. The coach finally called me back to let me know they were on the other side of the woods from where they were looking for the team. I have not been pleased with the organization and the maditory fundraising (wasn't told about it when we signed up)...especially after paying $124 to play!
Morning everyone!
Rain, rain go away I want to hang up sheets today!
Don't worry Crystal the rain will be gone soon and sunshine will be shining down!
Hillybillyhen-Newaygo isn't far from me!
Hope eveyone has a great day! My Mom is coming over for coffee in a bit, she is going to retire in a few weeks, I can't wait, we will be able to spend lots of time together!

Good morning Cat. Hope your daughter is feeling much better today. What a cutie Mrs. Quilligan is. I hope you enjoy her as much as I did. When you go to see MJ you must take her to see her friend Lonesome. They spent most of the winter in my basement. Mrs. Quilligan taught Lonesome how to be a chicken. They were truley the odd couple.
Oh my! I had no idea what you meant by mini-cows or Zebu. I had to look them up. They are adorable! And if they aren't kept as pets they produce some great meat. Have you raised these before? Do you know of anyone in Michigan who sells calves?
