Thanks for the welcome ya'll. Miss jayne, thanks for the offer of help with the photo. Will probably try to call at a later time as today I will busy if we get the promised warm sunny weather. Laundry to do and I have flower beds to rake out so that deer have easier acess to my flowers. I am also hoping that hubby will be working on the fence for the chicken run today. If so then I must help him.
Have a good day everyone!

Just got back from the Detroit River. It got so windy that fishing was next to impossible. We only took two walleye but they will be enough for supper. Sure felt good to get out fishing, it's been way to long.
I've got to run to TSC and get a fitting for the water line on my brooder and the thing is done. It sure is going to make cleaning up after the chicks alot easier. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

I can confirm that it is a beautiful day in Yale. I live in Yale for 6 years, but have never been to the hotel for burgers. I'll have to give my huggy a BIG hint.

I've spent most of the day outside trying to finnish up my little coop. It's 4x4 and up on skids with the back door on hinges. perfect hight to pull up the wheelbarrow and clean everything up! Hubby was even out helping me. He is starting to get into the chicken thing too. yahoo!!!

We are a little out there.....lol
about 1/2 hour west of Lake Huron (Port Huron), north of I-69. We are just less than 2 hours north of Detroit.
We moved here in 2003, and instantly fell in love with this town. Wonderful people, wonderful schools, and a lovely atmosphere.

OOOOHHHHHH Crystal...I have some adorable babies!!!!

I'm so sorry I didn't get to call you today. Chickflick and I stood around talking for like 1 1/2 hours today! It was great! And then when I got home, I had to get ready to take my son to his first t-ball practice. Anywho, they're doing great and just the sweetest little things. I do believe they're both roos. I've gotten pretty good at sexing the cochins at an early age. Thank you so much for them...we love them so much already.

Very nice, Opa.
Had a great visit with Shelley today when we swaped chickens. Gosh, she is the nicest down to earth lady. I really enjoyed talking with her. We've got to do it again very soon. What a blessing it is to have her as a friend!!
Wasn't it beautiful out today? Just sat outside and enjoyed it. Neighbors came over and visited. What a great day it was!
Hope to see some of you at the swap tomorrow! Can we meet at the front door around 9 maybe? Wouldn't that be cool to put faces with who we've be yakking with! Have a great night.
