we have a trailer that will work, and the tubes to roll it onto the trailer and into your yard. if you get it, call me and we'll help you out!

Well, I e-mailed em' to see if its still available, if I get lucky i'll let you know, thanks for offering your assistance, thats really nice of you.

no problemo. we have the stuff, so it's how we can help. we use a 'come along' (used for stretching fencing) with straps to pull it up onto the trailer and then to ease it back off. it takes 30 minutes tops to do.

Morning everyone. Thought I'd stop by and say hi. Haven't been on in awhile. Nothing new and eggciting going on here. Its not raining here but I hear that you guys down state are now getting it. My ducks and Labs did love all the rain. Sunshine in the forcast all week long. Glad to hear about sooo many new chickes hatching out. We are trying it again, just with duck eggs this time. Have a good day everyone! I'm off to work:)

I am not far from you at all! Just about 10 miles from Rockford!
What kind of chickens do you have?

Good Morning All.

MJ, those chicks look great.

and yes, you know where we live, but don't you step up and mess with my Serama babies, cuz i gotz a crazy dog and a coal shovel!

I'm not messin with that crazy dog or any woman with a coal shovel! Might have to send in the back-up troops, with the cuteness factor that you can't refuse!

FA - I am hoping you can get that playhouse. Good luck.

'I was tied up near the end of the third.'

I currently have 9 bantam cochin hens and 1 rooster, two americauna hens (they will be finding a new home soon) and 20 Vantress chickens which I refer to as my little "meat nuggets"

This will be my husband's first time butchering chickens and I am being very careful not to get attached to them! I also have 4 call duck eggs in the incubator that I am crossing my fingers to hatch.
What kinds do you all have? I'm still searching for a few more bantam cochin hens - eventually I'd like to have one of every color and so far I have a black, blue, lavender, penciled, silver laced, barred, patridge, buff, and white.

Here's Romeo, the guy that got my chicken craze started:
