I forgot to mention how much fun I had yesterday... and what came home with us....


Two of my kids, Sarah and Caleb went with me to Miss Jayne's farm. When I got home, and watched my kids pile out of the car, right in a line behind them were two baby DUCKS! I have no idea when MJ snuck them in there or how she bribed them not to make a PEEP on the way home! Unfortunately, she is too far away to take them back today, so the little rascals will have to stay here for now.

So, beware, all you who travel to Columbiaville! MJ has gone from pocket stuffing chicks to stowing away ducks!

Lauren immediately claimed one and Caleb the other, lol. Sarah, the non chicken lover, has not made a disparaging peep either, lol.

Yes heard about Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett died as well yesterday, and just heard that one of the Packers Ex-coachs who had moved to Ohio was shot and killed yesterday as well but didn't get his name. What a day yesterday was.

had a surprise visit from a BYCer and her family from KENTUCKY! she came by to pick up some Mille Fleur D'Uccles. i decided to give them as a gift to surprise her back. what does she do? have the kids sneak cash in a pocket! sassy! see! my sassiness is catchy!

going back out to mow more lawn. it never ends. mow, mow, mow.

Hope everyone survived the big storms yesterday. We got hit really hard at work here in Shelby Township but not hardly any rain at home in Marine City.

Its pretty bad when your first thoughts during a big storm is " I hope the chickens are ok"
