Pics of my new baby my silkie went brood at first i didn't think i was going to get any baby's and out popped this little guy last night a EE and a silkie is peeping right now,

hopefully there girls

and this little one was from one of my Broddy's in June
its a SLW / EE

And these little guys Black East Indies that i got form MJ

I'm adding an addition to my main coop and intend to build a stacked cage brood along one wall. As a result I will not be using my "uber brooder" https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=169694&p=1 so I will be selling it. I thought I would offer it to BYCers for my actual cost of materials $65. It not I will probably put it on Craigslist for much more.

. It was from scraps leftover from building our house.... 13 years ago. Linoleum, siding and such that we just had lying around. Thought it was high time to put it to use.

Rain here in the Southeast. A little thunder. I'm working on moving my 8 week old Welsummer and S.Sussex in with the rest of the flock. So far so good. They are so fast and can really dodge the pecks from Queen SLW.

Oh the baby Silkie popped out yesterday, and its blue, it tooo cute and tiny,,
the other EE baby, kept bugging the silkie baby, so i took the baby silkie out, and thinking how I'm i going to keep this chick warm until its drys, so I put it in my shirt and in the middle of my chest (try to keep it clean), and i sat by the ducks and watched them in the pool, my hub comes over and sets with me, and the chick started to move, he yells something is in you shirt, Oh its just the baby silkie, he looks at me no words

, then he says can i get warmed too. so I look at him back and

once the baby was dry I put it back under mom,

went running out there this morning, the rain is coming down so hard, check every one out and made sure the baby's were ok, feed everyone, by time i got back in the house i was soaking wet. and its still raining,
were suppose to go to a pig roast tonight not sure how thats going to work out.
