Hi All!
Hope everyone had a great Holloween. We walked about with our youngest son and his 4 kids. It was a beautiful night and it was so cool to see all the little ones in all the costumes.
I found out about a little farm auction in Vickeryville every Saturday. So we took our extra roosters there and sold them. We didn't get much, but found out about how they do things and what all they sell. It was worth it just to get rid of the extra birds.
Our Momma silkie is doing great and finally getting along with the other Momma. Now our little black silkie has gone broodey too!! The two babies we got from Vicki are now venturing out and about with the rest. A lot of times we just stand out there and watch them
Glad to see you are all doing great and some new ones like me have come aboard. I have already learned a lot more about my little feathered friends.
This is going to be a pretty good week . Hopefully we can all get a chance to enjoy it!!!

So you're from the thumb area? I used to live south of Saginaw; it was fun to visit the beach out on the thumb (sorry, I don't remember the name of the spot, but it was very popular). These days I garden but don't yet "gran".

I voted!

Took all of 15 minutes to drive there and back and vote. Hubby and I swapped so we didn't have to take the kids. the older ones would of enjoyed it but I wouldn't of been able to vote chasing the younger ones around!

Welcome GardeningGranny! Glad to see more and more people finding their way to this site. Got up early this morning and took my mother with me to vote. I had ask her if she wanted to file an absentee ballot, to which she replied "I want people to see me vote. If an 82 year old crippled lady can stand in line it shows how important it is to vote". I've got to give the old girl a lot of credit. We were voters 8 & 9.
