Wasn't it gorgeous today??? My oldest daughter (senior) is taking a Zoology class through LCC career tech center. They spend 2 hours every day at Potter's Park Zoo in Lansing. Today they went to the Toledo zoo and I got to go as a chaperone. Wow, was it nice out and a perfect zoo day!! I can't wait to go back when we can take out time and visit the whole zoo!!

Sure was a beautiful day! Spent all day outside just doing chores and walking the dogs. Hate to see it end

I hate winter. Looong cold nights. All that freakin snow. I'd rather be out in the warm sun!!

Like the rest of you I certainly enjoyed today. I took today off and met my best friend at the farm we hunt and spent part of the day performing maintenance on our deer blinds. I took him a dozen Welsummer eggs and he has great plans for them with a couple of his grandkids. They have never seen eggs that dark and he plans on teasing the kids about the eggs. Don't know what he'll do, but knowing Bob for 40 years I know how his mind works and I'm sure he'll come up with something to create a good time for the kids. I got to log off and trying a hook up a wireless router to go with the new lap top I just bought. Granny and GF insisted I get a computer we could have in the house so they wouldn't have to come out to my shop to look at something on line. Being the incredibly intelligent man that I am, I wasn't about to let 2 woman both get upset with me at the same time; so I went out and bought a laptop.

Hi Again!!
We sure enjoyed this nice weather too. Got a lot of stuff done for the winter.
I spent a lot of time raking up the leaves in the chicken pen so that all the birds could scratch and peck at everything. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and it was fun to watch them.
It is so good to see more people joining in. HI to ya all.
We made sure to vote also. I kept after our kids to vote too. Don't know who all did. God willing the new president will make a wonderful change for us all.
All my little chicks are still doing well. My little silkie is still on her eggs and we will see what we get in two more weeks. She is so tiny and acts like a big toughey!!!
It is great to go to the zoo. We used to take our kids to zoos and museums all the time. I still love to go when I can. With some of the museums, I look and things and can remember using them!!! Not sure that is a good thing!!! ha ha
Take care everyone and have a great day!!! Myrna

It's down right depressing to see antiques and you can remember when that was first introduced.

well, you could always fake like you don't remember!

Hi Again,
Yup, we could always look at all that stuff and say " Gee, that must have been way before my time!!!" Then my luck someone would take a good look at me and say" Yah Right!"" Sometimes I look at some of that stuff and wish I had of kept some of it. Maybe I could be one of those rich folks then. Ha ha. Just like Antiques Roadshow. I always see the folks that bought something for a quarter and is worth thousands. If it were me, it would still be worth a quarter. Myrna

I know the feeling. With my normal luck if it were raining soup I would be standing there with a fork. I guess we will soon be looking at snow. This is the first winter I have had chickens in close to sixty years so I don't remember to much about how they faired in deep snow. Unless they learn how to use a snowshovel I guess they are just going to have to wade through.
