No RIR but I think Chickenpal had some, if I remember right. I will or do have some BLRW roosters, hatched 9-17 and will most likely have some welsummer and BLRW roosters out the ones I hatched 11-1 with more coming! Yep, I am nuts, what else can I say.

That picture wasn't taken in the last couple days was it? We have snow on the ground at our place. The kids made a snowman, it took a lot of work with the little bit of snow. Gretchen made a snow angel on the back deck..it had the most snow.

My 2 year old, Nathan, stayed in while the other 4 went out. So I opened the back door and he grabbed snow from the deck. He proceded to throw it in the house and give some to his rocking horse. He was quite surprised when there was just a puddle of water on the horse!

Trying to keep warm.....and thinking of spring already!

Those are a great looking bunch of meaties! What kind are they? How old are they? Hopefully you won't have to butcher in the deep snow! They look so good I think I may have drooled on my keyboard!

Take it from me, Miss_Jayne's meaties are scrumptious! Everytime I go to her house and see the live ones running around, my mouth starts watering! I see roast chickens, bbq chickens, rotisserie chickens, chicken soup, white chicken chili...

You know I did have 5 nice big 6 month old RI red roosters and I sold them all two weeks ago. Sorry. If I had known you needed one, I would have held on to it. They were nice healthy ones and no one around here had the heart to butcher them.
Those are nice meaties you have. I am hoping to increase my larger chickens this spring. I would like to find a nice incubator fairly cheap so I can hatch my own out. I have one Brahma hen and I would love to hatch out some of her eggs.
Don't you think it should only snow for Christmas and then be 70 degrees after that? Seems like a fair request.
