Good morning!

I had a doctor appointment at 9am for my next round of immunizations before my trip. The doc called stopped on US-23, appairantly a semi is in the median. So she will be late. Very appreciative that she called! I would of been sitting there waiting for her. So I get to go at 10am, but I have to call first and make sure that she made it.

Yes it is way too cold this morning! Very cold to go and exersice this morning, but i did. And now I am broke out in hives...not sure why. Ran 2 miles today and haven't in 3 weeks since I was sick. Maybe too much exersicing!!!LOL

Hi,

another michigander here. I live in central michigan. in the farm lands where there is nothing but Fields... and blowing snow lol I have 7 chickens and 6 ducks. 2 of my ducks are mutts one I got from an ag store that no one can tell me what she is. another one is a Rouen/kahki cambell i believe. I have 1 domesticated grey mallard, 2 cauygas and Magpie. My mallard is a drake so I hope to hatch my own duck eggs this summer. My chickens I have 4 mutts a black australorp hen, and a Isa Brown Roo who is new to my flock also hoping to hatch some chickens .. I have 2 kids both boys and we all love our birds!!!

I can't wait until the blowing and snowing is done, I need spring to come I have a few ducks in my house and a chicken and a duck in the garage. I have an order from Ideal coming around the middle of next month with 2 french gunieas a turkey, a turken and 2 partridge bantams.. I'm over run with birds in the house right now..

Not sure Steve. They are kicking it around. I was not happy with how they handled it last year. My friend and I got no help until the day of, then they all showed up to sit on their butts. We drove all over and got tons of great raffle items and then they never even wrote thank you cards. Now they want to throw it together again at the last minute but with no raffle or food, just the swap and a garage sale??? They want us to check animals in because they don't know how to do it. However, the weekends they have picked won't work for me anyway, so not sure if they will do it or not. They were talking about either May 2 or May 25 (Memorial Weekend). I have a daughter graduating so May is pretty busy for me this year. I will let you know what they decide here shortly.

Wow vicki...ain't that the way it goes.

I used to do a lot of things, coach baseball and football.....organized some car shows, and you get those same types in everything. Finally I quit doing coaching and car shows. I am active in a organization that helps kids and community here but we get a lot of support from people in the organization...then it isn't so bad.

Welcome to all the newbies Boy, Do I wish I was closer to all of you. I would love to join in the meet -n- greet swap meet this summer. But, right now the husband's job is on the line. His factory makes pistons for GM and several other car companies. So we don't think we'll be able to go anywhere this summer. Anyway, it feels as if I know all of you just from reading your blogs.
