haaaaa! when you get home you'll realize you've bought 83 chicks, eaten two pies and for some bizarre reason you want to buy guineas.

I would have a problem telling MJ the same thing, with a cinamon roll or piece of cake in my hands.

Or this amazing bread filled with cherries that she made yesterday.... I walked in and there were 4 different kinds of breads just out of the oven on her table, a wonderful smelling/looking pie in the oven and she was working on something else while we talked, lol.

Morning all! We have had a busy weekend around here! On Friday we picked up three new muscovy girls. We got some ducklings last fall, ended up with 2 boys and a girl, so we evened up the ratio now. Then we picked up 7 new serama's, 2 pairs and a trio from a really nice guy. He was getting out due to some health problems but had some really nice stock. Then on Sunday we went to another place and bought 2 pairs of call ducks (snowy & grey) and a pair of black east indies. The Seramas and ducks will be used for 4-H and because we love them! The muscovies are great for eating bugs, flies, mosquitoes, being broodies, etc

Then today my geese laid their first egg!!
