Where might that be Steve? I always appreciate a cold frosty one. We have a local pool hall/bar/restaurant that serves 36 ounce beers for $2.50, and Labatts at that.

Glad to see you are feeling better. Hope your wife recovers too, there is nasty stuff going around out there.

The place is called Joes Gizzard city in nearby Potterville. The place recently was featured on TV, but I can't remember the name of the show.

I always ask for a dozen lightly battered gizzards and a BAB. They do something to these gizzards, I think they pressure cook them to make them tender, then deep fry, serve with cocktail sauce. I love em....about twice a year.

Hi Babsboys, welcome!! You know my hubby wasn't too crazy about me having chickens either, but he is coming around to it. He enjoys watching the chickens and even helps with the chores with them too.

We don't have much money either but it doesn't really cost all that much and they give back to you!

Just got back from jury duty. Didn't get picked today. Still have the rest of the month.
My hubby is remembering what I tell him about this thread. My youngest son wanted to know if we knew anyone from the UP yet and if they could tell us when the smelt are running. He told my son to ask Mom cause she was on the chicken thing!!!

We used to hunt deer a lot also. My hubby hunted phesants. Now most of the places we all knew are posted and we can't go there any more.
One of my sons cats just decided to get too close to our Momma silkie in our bedroom. She just had a fit, and I went dashing there to make sure she and 3 babies were fine. Cats came running out like crazy.

Hi Everyone! I've been lurking today....still not 100%, but feeling much better.
