I think we may be the gabbiest in the union, lol.

And some people worked really hard one night to prove that LOL

Wow, that is scary. I always dread that type of thing. Where was this Steve, Pruess'? I love that store.

I am currently on the south side (near Target and Sam's) and cannot wait to get out to our "new" house in the Land of E.R.

. We currently live in a townhouse and have 10 years. This year it was the worst! We were still awake one night and it was well after midnight (I have had several surgeries on my leg and have trouble sleeping at night) and I got up one last time to go potty before going to sleep. Hubby got up out of bed to help me, but he looked out our front windows (our bedroom is upstairs) and saw 3 people near our van. I opened the window up and yelled at them. It was 2 guys and a girl, the weather was AWFUL and the girl was peeing beside our van

!!!! I called the cops (they showed up in a plow truck because the weather was so bad) but they had taken off in a broken down Saturn that sounded like the engine was about to blow. I LOVE EATON RAPIDS! We got a big kick out of the Family Fare Store. My daughter adores the store. Downtown is sooooooo warm, the people are extremely polite and friendly! (Plus, this is the only place I know of that you can get bread pudding in the deli!!).

Ok, I must go to bed. I couldn't read all the posts, so I thought I would start with 2009. (I actually started sometime in Feb of 2009)

Sam/Opa - I LOVE Sam Elliott, he is one of the greatest actors!

Must find out more about James the squirrel! Any pics anywhere of this squirrel that needs upper dentures?

I hope I can find my place tomorrow.... (Page 438 in case I forget)

You all are too funny! Such a wonderful place to be!

Hi Patti,

I grew up in the Colonial Village area of Lansing. I cut hair in Holt for several years before I married and started my family. I am so glad you joined us! It is a great place with good friends.

Okay can you guys go to waterfowl and do the sign to save the geese. There are big plan to Slater them because they where allowed to over populate. I won't go into my rant here. I had a small one there

Sorry I can't post the link for you.

Man I can believe you all sleep so late. I've just about finished an entire pot of coffee. Sure wish that I wouldn't wake up at four in the morning. There isn't much that you can do then. Read for a while , readded my egg count (the girls have laid 527 eggs to date), surfed the web for a while. The weather certainly isn't going to be very pleasant. With the ground still frozen even a slow rain is going to create a lot of stand water problems.

Good Morning-
Its kinda gloomy and cold out this morning. The chickens didn't care they all came running out to see if I had any treats. Hopefully it doesn't rain all day again today. Maybe the wind will dry up a little bit of the mud.

Hopefully today Crystal came bring her eggies over and we can fill up that bator! So far I have 40 from my girls plus whatever I can get today!

Time to go cook some breakfast!

Ok. I am probably a worry wart! My borrowed incubator is sitting on a counter top in my kitchen. It is an isolated cupboard, but I still worry that when people look in through the incubator window they will get bumped and roll around a bit.

I thought I read some where that you can let them hatch in egg cartons an it makes it easier for the to get out, they don't get kicked around and it makes less mess. Maybe I am wrong!
