Kids are off to school, cinnamon rolls are gone! We have a prayer around here-"Father, Son, Holy Ghost, He who eats the fastest get the most" It was very true this morning!

The bator is running perfect 100 and 38% humidity! The eggs look so warm and cozy in there!

Angie you are a very brave girl for taking on the list!

Good morning:) Cinnamon rolls - yummmm. I had a cinnamon pop-tart, not quite the same.

Did you all see the presents our president gave the Prime Minister? I wonder what the movies were. The Prime Minister's gifts were extremely thoughtful, I hope the President at least gave him and his family some popcorn to go along with the movies...

So, do you guys make your chicken dishes from your chickens? Is it hard to use them for this purpose? I am afraid my daughter is becoming very attached to ours. She likes to hold them on their backs and give them belly rubs (they seem to enjoy it to).

Ok, so if I let her get pecked, she will understand how the "food chain" works

. My son was bummed last year because she refused to let us bring home their "processed" goats. I guess things are going to change very soon.

I give them a good life while they are here. I have no problem using them for food. I have always been this way, my wife makes a few comments about it but knows they had a good life that may not be had by so many others. I treat each animal (cattle, hog, chicken) like they should be treated, but I do not get attached so strongly they can not be made food. Like any crop, there is a time for harvest.

Steve, what time is dinner? That looks YUMMY! Every time hubby looks at the chicks, he starts to drool. He weighed one this morning, it was over 4 ounces - not too long now and we might have half a Happy Meal
