I would still like to bring her to you. I have forgotten that I have a stupid work seminar to go to all day on Sunday, and I have to work Saturday night because of the memorial today. If I take 94 to 12- am I close? Like tomorrow?

Checked on my chickens and I have a little bantum that has gone broodey!

She is such a tiny little thing, but acts all big and bad when you come near her.

I picked up my Dels from MJ today. The boys are going crazy and could barely contain themselves when they got home from school! Finally got everyone (chicks included) tucked into bed. Now I can finally relax.

So, I got on Mapquest and I took 12 all the way to 50 and didnt find Roseville, and I am thinking the Clinton i was thinking of isnt the Clinton where you live. You are not in between Saline and Irish Hills, are ya?

So, switching gears and heading the other way on 94....you live about an hour and some away the opposite direction. hm. Like past St. Clair Shores- right?

Ahh, I hate mapquest

I get too much spam from it. I use google maps. People always get Clinton township messed up with Clinton in the south of Michigan which is probably the one your were reffering to in between Saline and Irish Hills LOL. How about I just PM you my address so we dont get too confused

and you cant just google or mapquest it which ever you prefer.


Oh and what time do you think Saturday morning, but ya sometime Saturday would be fine

Good morning all! Today is going to be a LONG day...... I need to go build my brooder. I finally decided on scrapping my NICE brooder idea... now I'm building it out of old doors that have no other use anymore... LOL Whatever works, right?

I could have made a nice one .... but this one is 100% FREE which makes it twice as nice in my eyes

I wouldn't worry just yet. My first egg to pip was my last to hatch. Some can take 24 hours or more. They have to rest and gather energy between stages. Just watch it... if nothing more happens you will have to decide if you want to let nature take it's course or if you want to 'help' ..... if the rest of your hatch is in a pretty early stage you may be able to candle the egg quickly to see if there is movement... if there is movement... put it back and give it time. It may just be a slow hatcher. Interesting though that it did not pip with the beak a small hole before starting to zip? You might want to candle and maybe make a small pip in the top to let air in. It's completely up to you though how you proceed.

note... I wouldn't call myself seasoned... this is my third hatch... so, you know, see what other info you get and go from there

Thinking on that some more... that spiderweb is where it is pipping but hasn;t busted through yet... I remember now that some of mine did this also and made quite a large web area compared to the neat nice little pippers. Watch it real close and see if there is indeed a pip but the piece of shell fell back over the hole.
