Hi Everyone!!!

I told him they were not plain, they were babies and mine!!!

MJ, I will look forward to seeing you some day. I will bug my fella till he takes me just to get me to shut up.
Sorry about the pup getting the chickens. When stray dogs got ours, they hid for 2 days before they came back.
Checked on the eggs today and the two hens that are setting. We have a bantum and an austrolorp. It was so funny. The bantum was on the big eggs trying to cover them all and the other was on hers. So I had to switch them around.

The frogs are singing in the pond!!!

Have a great day all!!

Rachel found Splash!!!! She was under the front porch, I had looked but she must of been tucked under the steps.

Rachel and I just candled the eggs, day 10. 4 of 5 cross colored Ameraucana bantam eggs have babies growing, real easy to see through the cream colored egg. The lavender ameraucana eggs were hard to tell. The shells are so thick the light doesn't go through them. So we are leaving all the eggs and waiting to see what happens. 11 more days and counting!!!

Myrna- sorry you didn't get much sleep with babies hatching! Our incubator is in our garage/rec room. So it shouldn't bother us, just the dog in his kennel and the cats, when our eggs hatch.

The problem with the dog yesterday was my husband just let him out by himself. Our #1 rule is if the chickens are out, dog must be with someone or on the rope.

Off to get some work done. Have a great evening everyone!

Sarah

So sorry about the bator problem at your house guitarist!

The incubator was high last night when we got home, so I hope it wasn't like it too long. Hubby said he couldn't read the thermoter without his glasses, which are in his shop.

The kids are out building their Awana Grand PRix cars. The race is on Wednesday. Nothing like waiting til the last minute:)

Funny Miss Jayne on the dry ice! Probably be easier to just make your own:) And cheaper LOL

Happy to hear of Splash's return and of the peeps that are popping out of their shells.

I, too, want the recipe for the manicotti. Well, that a big lie. I actually just want to get on c2much's friend list so she will make me some.................
But, instead I will just settle on the recipe. Hmmmmm.....I do live close enough to MJ to deliver one, but I so, so love Italian food.

Is the name of the recipes Grizzly Adams Manicotti?

And I was feeling cool because I just started to cook with venison this year. We had venison tacos for dinner and will be having venison stew tomorrow.

Funny, we had manicotti for lunch today! Requested by my son for his birthday. It's for a bunch of birthdays, actually. My two sons and my DH and my grand son and Kristen's all in March. So, we just have one big bash. Family loves manicotti.
