I was dazed and confused. Why was all the hatchaholics excited about hatching roosters!?!?! And how did they know that the little fuzzy butts were roos??

Seems that with the server upgrade "e*g*g*s" has been changed to "rooster"!! Need my caffiene!

Ok.... I read though the posts here and on a couple other topics. I thought everyone was going crazy...rooster instead of 'e'g'g's' I know I am not 100% mind working this morning, but still!

We have a group food coop order coming at 8am. We are the delivery point. So I am patiencently waiting.

Kids are waking up. Had a late night, the kids had their homeschool ballet performance. Didn't get home til almost 9:30pm. I am letting them sleep in. 2 children are up and crabby...It is going to be a LONG day!

Have a great day and good luck on everyone's hatches! Tomorrow we should have some hatching...I am so excited!!!

Good morning all, I was apprehensive about logging on today with all of the news about some new scary virus but then decided to risk it. I've got a small job to take care of this morning then back to work on the garden fence. I guess it might have been smarter and definitely cheaper to have left well enough alone but I'm committed now.

I was glad to be able to help Crystal and my second incubator is going out this weekend. Actually it is probably smart that I am loaning them out. It keeps me from hatching anything.

Morning folks.
If you guys want to check your computers for that virus. You can go to either microsft.com, symantec.com or mcafee.com to check. The virus will not let you load any of those websites. I know microsoft's site was having trouble loading earlier this morning because of so many people trying to go there. So don't panic if microsoft's site is slow to load.

Good Morning! Gonna be a fun day. What else have the mods got up their sleeves? Will have to keep checking in to see what other jokes will pop up. Cleaned the hen house yesterday....they are so inconsiderate. All that cleaning and I go in this morning and they pooped all over the clean shavings. There I was with the dust pan and putty knife picking up the poo telling them they really need to learn to go outside!!

the kids just told me it was April fools day!(I have A p r i l F o o l' s D a y written here) What a great prank on BYC's part!

We have til tomorrow night for our e g g s to be h a t c h i n g. Well we have 2 cracks in the e g g s this morning! quite exciting! The kids are not interested in anything else but watching the e g g s!!!!!

Happy A---l F--ls Day!!

Not much going on here, beside the laundry. I feel the same way as c2much--total yak!!!

Since I don't have chickens yet, I can't post cute pics of them or tell cute stories of pipping and such, but I can share with you a story of my little Roo named Josh. Josh puts Dennis the Menace to shame---a great, sweet, smart kid who always has to push the envelope. Yesterday he got stuck in a tree, and I mean STUCK!! Our neighbor came over to help, as I couldn't get him out---he had no luck, so I had to go in the house and get my hubby. It took 2 grown men to un-wedgie my son from the tree. I hope you get your smile for the day looking at the picture I took. It was a definite Kodak moment!!
