Morning!

The sun is out, but so is the wind.

My girls (hens) are doing well. They are 8 weeks old, if I remember correctly. I gave them a rare treat yesterday by finding worms in my garden. It took a little bit for them to figure out what they were supposed to do with them......

One little cannibal was smart enough to stand back and steal the worm from all the other girls. I got a good laugh out of that one. She even ended up flying up into my lap to see if I had anymore hidden somewhere. Gotta love those Delawares! Thanks MJ!

I was contacted by a Michigan BYC member yesterday that did not know about this thread. Someone killed her Tom, and she is looking for another one. It needs to be a heritage breed Tom. Please PM me if you have one available.

I am with you there! We just got the groceries unloaded and started the 3rd load of the day. At least I don't have to do all the bedding again this week.

Have I mentioned that I don't think April Fools is very funny?

Today is laundry day around here, too.

Now if that blasted wind would die down a little so me and the little man could play outside.

Can someone tell me without me starting a thread:

Can bantam duck e g g s and turkey e g g s be incubated together?

I've read that they both need higher humidity, so I was just wondering.

I thought only my kids did things so silly... thanks for the LOLz!

I sent DH to Family Farm & Home to pick up 3 Araucana/EE pullets since they just got a new batch in today ... called to see how it went and he ended up bringing SEVEN more ch-icks home instead of 3! Love him. <3

We are up to 4 e g g s now starting to h a t c h.

My figures are getting more of a workout today with the spaces!

Gotta sort the coop food order....

Hey all. I know it's A p r i l 1st and all, but what are they doing to us? I'm not much of a talker, and it took a while to accumulate those posts. I know there has been an A p r i l f o o l s joke or two here before, so suppose this is it?

Bluberrylu - That is a great picture. I can see our son doing something like that when he gets older too. I have seen firsthand the mentality difference between girls and boys. I don't think my daughter would ever do that.

Our daughter was voted student of the month at her school. She was sent home with a letter from the principal, and her picture is in the main hall next to the office. We are very pleased with her, and blessed that she is such a good kid.

Is there any more mention of the Michigan get together? I wasn't sure if I missed something or not.

Better get talking. We need to get those post numbers up again!!
