Crystal, Crystal, Crystal! Guess what! The guy emailed me back about the frizzled polish! And his price is crazy good, so as soon as I'm able I'm going to get some eggs from him...blues and blacks!

I emailed him back to see where he's located...might be able to pick up the eggs instead of shipping. If he's in your area, would you be able to incubate them? Or should I just have them shipped to me?

I do need to get out your way next week to get chicken feed for sure. Can't put it off any longer. Meat chickens arrive on the 9th.

Good morning all-----------------I hope no one is too soggy!! I made my amish potato started bread-----yummy!! The kids said it is so good it didn't even need butter. It was an easy recipe, but needed to rise for forever!!! Have a great day.

Shelly - I bought two hens from that same guy last year. His name is Dave, in Owosso. It's not that far of a drive from Flint. I have a barred frizzled cochin from him and our silkie from him died of unknown causes. I saw all his stock and he had MANY Polish of all varieties. He was also at the Frankenmuth show last year showing some of his birds.

Anything that's frizzled and feather legged is just too much for me to resist.

I'll be setting up a date with him to pick the eggs up from him...of course you know I'm only going there because I don't want the eggs shipped, right? It's not because I want to actually see tons of beautiful birds and want one of every kind.
