They know everytime I come to check on them I bring them treats. I just love it!

Baaad thing. I just looked outside at some beautiful deer that are grazing right near my chicken's play pen. Well, my entire penned in area, 1000 sq ft, has collapsed!!!!!!! I have to go wake up husband. This is not good:hit

well, of course they are! they get lots of attention with all the kids that visit and my kids and even adult visitors like to hold them.

plus, you're just a nice person and relaxed. they know that. you are smart to start a Pavlov scenario with them.

Hubby won't let me go outside. He's afraid that I will get hurt or make things worse. I grabbed the binoculars and can see that the deer fencing we put over the top of the fence has weighed everything down with the heavy snow. It caused the chain link fence part of the pen to totally collapsed inward and some of the wooden poles have fell or collapsed inward also.

Somedays I just feel like God has it in for us. Life has been such a huge challenge lately. We have worked for 4 years on this chicken playpen and the new hen house, slowly repairing and upgrading. Just this past Sunday we were commenting on how everything was almost completely done. Now my poor babies can't come out of the hen house, yet again. Last year it was the predators that killed almost a dozen. With the fence being collapsed and the deer fencing on top being down they can't come out again they could get eaten or get their poor wings caught in the downed fence.

Lord, please give her your peace that passes all understanding. Help her to know You are for her and not against her and You have a good plan for her, her family and all in her charge, for prosperity, not calamity, to give them a future and a hope. Show them what to do to fix this and we know You will provide everything needed.
