I live in Benton Twp. with my DH, DS (14) and DD (12). I have 10 hens -- 4 NH, 3 BR, 2 WR, and 1 BO. I lost 2 BO to the neighbors' dog and 1 NH to a hawk. I am getting 4 Buckeyes in June.

I am a special ed. substitute teacher and love my job. Next year, I'm taking time off to homeschool my kids (long story).

Is there a CS planned for the Lansing area? I don't know where Swartz Creek is (saw that on a post somewhere), but I think it may be too far afield for us.

Ok, me, I'm Cindy mom of 3 kids, 2 boys ages 13 and 8 and 1 girl age 11. Also lots of extra daycare kids in and out all the time. We have 67 chicks and chickens, 3 bunnies and more meat chickens soon. My DH (Big Russ) also thinks I'm nuts, but he still lets me stick around!​

Rachel and I got the outside part of the old coop chick proof. so they were able to go outside for the first time...only a 1/2 dozen did. In time they all will.

Well most of my info is under my name, but just some extra info. I am Vicki

I live in Eaton Rapids with my hubby, Mike. We have 4 kiddo's, 2 boys, 2 girls, one is living in Lansing at college, one is a senior in high school, one is a third grader, youngest just turned 5 and won't start Kindergarten until fall! Yep, we are crazy!

We have a small mini farm, only 2.5 acres, hoping to move to something a little bigger this summer. I am a 4-H leader and a cub scout treasurer, taxi cab driver and an atm!!

Hi< I am Ellen and I live on 20 acres in Yale. We have 5 horses, 6 Delawares, a Siamese cat, a Chocolate Lab, 2 Boys, and Meat birds and Turkeys on the way.

I am an unemplyed auto worker that is working part time at Lowes, and just trying to make the bills.

hello and welcome- I'm Al- manufacturing challenged empolyee- husband, 3 daughters and one son moved on own, one 6yr old at home and a daughter home due in july. 6 almost 7 grandkids. currently 4 dogs- 3 cats(one with four very nice looking kittens if interested), and a assortment of 29 chickens. Also collector of free recycleable wood.

Happy Easter everyone!!! I'm the sole awake person so far this morning. Hubby let our 10 year old son stay up until midnight so he still sleeps. Doesn't he know the Easter Bunny came last night! I know my 7 year old will be up and running down the stairs as soon as she peeks and sees the sun
