You're a great lady, a good friend, and a trusted confidant. I REALLY enjoyed our talk today, and it opened my eyes to a lot of things. We definitely must do it again. Maybe we can get a few local BYCers to come out for dinner somewhere or something. I just know we'd all have a great time. I'll be at the swap early...like 6am. I may still be there at 9...not sure if I can find enough to keep me entertained that long, though.

Kristen and I are planning on being there at 8, so maybe you'll still be there. I have your # so I'll give you a call. A get together would be great! We can meet in Lapeer and go out to dinner and just have a blast and get to know each other. How 'bout it guys. Anyone up for it? E G Nicks has great pizza!

I've noticed there's a lot of people who used to post in this thread that don't anymore...so I'll go back a ways and send out pm invites. The "regulars" can just post as usual if they're interested....sound ok?

I would love to attend the swap. It would be nice to put more names and faces together but you have to realize that this time last year I didn't have any chicks and given how many I now have, I am afraid to go anywhere there is even the slightest possibility of chicks being for sale. I even had to drag myself out of TSC after I made about the tenth trip to the stock tanks with chicks. I made it out without buying any but it was awfully tempting. I'm going to go turkey hunting instead, they don't have any chicks yet.

Hey chick...I'll be back later. I've GOT to go clean some empty brooders and get some chicks moved around. It's a dirty job, but somebody who loves chickens has got to do it! Just came in from checking to insure the birds are tucked in for the night. when I built the center partition it wasn't the wire mesh that I wanted to use. I had thought that I had some smaller mesh but couldn't find it. The 1x2 I thought would work just as well. Of course I found the smaller mesh after I had the other one installed. Tonight when I went to check I found that a running b five day old bantam can get through; so tomorrow I will have to change it.
