yep! i know Bay City pretty well. if you think you're nuts, come see our crazy crew. we have 10 coops/tractors and all sorts of chickens running about.

my DH is outside finishing two more right now.

Cute puppy Vicki. How big will he get?
Here is Kodi watching the wild turkey's, He won't chase them or the deer so do you think we could get him to be good with the chickens?

Crystal, I think we have been pretty lucky. I am not sure about trusting Kodi with the chickens though as he would always lick his chops when he would see them while we had them in the house. We have another dog, a toy rat terrier but most of the chickens are bigger than he is.
I hope we will get some rain,it sure feels like we will.

My little dog, Pippin, is very good and so smart. He learns things so fast and live to please us. We got him from an animal rescue when he was 9 months old. I have to say he has been the smartest dog we have ever had. I am trying to upload a photo of him now but it is so slow.....

Here is a pic of Pippin and one of the chicks when it was still in the brooder box taken a few weeks ago. The chicken is now almost as big as the dog. Our cat Hobbit is there also.

hey everyone heres a pic of the nest box i made it only cost me $12 and took 2 hours way better than paying $100 from a catalog!! Also here's a pic of my new Mille Fleur pair.

Im thinkin about adding a roost in front of the nest boxes.

Theres the little rooster!!
