My best friend from Florida is up she brought me 3 jumbo quail 10 a&m eggs and a crazy frizzled Cochin rooster that thinks he is a parrot for my mother in law cute little stink!
I now need some female quail I have a cage with my pair and she gave me 1 male and two females I would like 6 more females to be happy. Oh I do have the old lady but she will not allow anyone in the cage with her and at the ripe old age of 5 she can call the shots LOL

How silly of me! If I would of just looked at your post numbers, I would have realized it. Well, welcome to the Michigan thread!

not that big of deal just never came to look at this section, but got bored and was just looking at new threads and saw this one... will be back to talk to everyone when I can

Good morning!! Hope we don't get storms just some rain. Will have to wait and see. Who has kids in school still? Mine don't get done till thursday. I am ready for them to be done so I don't have to do the bus 3 times a day anymore. But after a week or two I will be ready for them to go back.

Morning all, looks a little dreary out there, at least here. Yucky old rain. I know we need rain, but why can't it rain at night and be nice during the day?

My kids are out of school, last thursday was their last day. Hard to believe, had we not adopted our youngest two, we would be empty nesters now that our oldest two have both graduated. But that is silly, what would I do with myself? Besides, adopting those two was the best decision we ever made, we just love them to pieces! So what if the youngest doesn't start Kindergarten until the fall and I have 13 more years to go!!

What else do I have to do, right?!

Vicki, you are right about the empty nest. It's just that, empty. My sons were grown and gone when Hope and her kids came to live with me. Now they are also grown and gone. Adopting I'm sure has enriched your life immeasurably.
It just dawned on me, I guess my nest really isn't empty. We've got Granny.

Morning!! Not necessarily good since its downpouring!! Boy I hope the garden doesn't flood. All the chickens have their waaterwings on this am!! My kids first day of summer vacation and they're stuck in the house. At least I have to work!! Poor DH! Stay dry!

I hear ya Cristy it sure is wet out there much more and I will need a boat. My Chickens are nuts they are out in this.

Son's has 3 days of school left till vacation, vacation for him more running for me with his broken leg. He has 2 years left of school after this year. But he told the school teacher who helps them decide what they want to do after high school that he really doesn't have to worry as he is living at home till he gets married. Thanks son LOL

Opa just keep enjoying Granny, you are so lucky to have this time with her.

MJ glad to hear the meds are working. They really control your life when they are off. I know.

Boyd congrats on the van, if you are driving that sucker from Texas I sure hope you have extra set aside for gas, at the way the prices are jumping your going to need a stash.

Welcome to the new.

Enjoy your day and stay dry.
