Yes I plan on attending chickenstock as long as I can get the day off work.

I only had 4 of the BO, and I really only wanted 2. I think that MJ will have some soon if I remember correctly. I was hoping to pick up a roo from her. I know she cannot attend chickenstock.....but I could always deliver for her.

MJ are you really gonna be having some BO roos? None of mine are getting any comb or wattle growth yet. You saw them and it's been a couple weeks and nothing still. I am the only person I bet that ordered sexed pullets and only got all pullets. I was really hoping one would of been a roo but it is starting to look hopeless. I am thinking of keeping The Big Guy around as long as he can behave himself after he turns into a manly rooster.

I had every intention of attending the swap but decided that if I went I would only buy more birds. I need to wait until I get the addition on the large coop before I get more. Plus I has a couple of Delawares coming from Michelle and my son in Missouri has gotten some Columbian Wyandottes for me. That will bring my layer flock up to 28 and that is more than enough birds. Of course I think I may have overspoke with the term "layer flock" since fully half aren't pulling their weight. I do have six broody hens right now and I sure am coming to dislike their squawks and screams.

um, Crystal, what if a certain miss MJ had these three green ducks and she loved them very much but just decided she felt led to go in another direction and thought that maybe her friend Crystal would really want to put them in her round pen of feathery things? (gosh, that was a long sentence.)

Well good morning all. Rained some early here. So it looks like inside chores till the lawn dries then it is on to the mowing. My husband looked down right depressed last night due to the Wings loosing. Well MJ. I might be contacting you about a roo later in July or Aug. I am hoping someone might sprout a huge comb or wattle any minute untill then though. Maybe one of them will run off and get a sex change.

Good Morning everyone!!! I know I have not been posting here in quite some time. I have had a busy time these last few week. My daughter graduated high school and now...my dearest son is getting married at 3pm. I am very happy for him. His girl is super and they have my beautiful grand son too. So, it should be after this and my summer should calm down just a smidge.

Good Morning Everyone!

I took DD in to the drs cause the spots to me don't look like chicken pox(according to the pics in the baby book). Dr says they are small and don't exactly look like it, but it is following the pattern, so she says it is Chicken pox.

My DD is the drama queen, and they are not that itchy, she is not scratching them, while she has scars on her arm from mostiqutio bites on her arms! She also doesn't have a fever, which is part of the disease. So we are just odd

So we are just hanging out, oldest DD just got back from a sleep over party. Dr said that the other kids can continue their schedules as long as they show no symptoms. So go figure!

My oldest 2 had the chicken pox vaccine. Then DD #2 had a reaction with that vaccine plus the others given at a year old. So we stopped vaccinating our children.

In our community there is always a chicken pox outbreak in the schools,at least once a year. Even though all the kids have had the vaccine...humm....seems like a waste to me to vaccinate when they will get it anyways.

Off to get something accomplished. Wasn't planning on rain today. I need to mow the lawn
