I have a wonderful, brave, Serama roo that I need to re home, no charge. He is very sweet with people and a gentleman with the girls. He always makes sure they eat first and he brings them treats. I had hoped he would be a quiet crow-er... but he is not, lol. He was plucked by my barred rock(when I first got him), who reached through the small opening in the divided coop I first had him and his mate in. The little roo stood guard over the hen despite what the BR was doing to him. Because of that, his tail is a little off but is growing back in nicely. He is pet quality, not for showing. I thought I would see if any of my Michigan friends might be interested in this nice little guy. I would much rather he go to someone I know....

During a visit to the mental asylum , I asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized. Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup." "No"." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"*

I took a bed near the window.

Ok, I am back and ready to tell all. Here is what I posted on the other thread that some sassy lady started.

This thread is awsomely hilarious. It shows what can happen when a sassy member of the group (you know, sassy, sassy, sassy) looses the brakes on her imagination. A few days ago I posted about the raccoon that killed 47 of my chicks and had the nerve to come back the next day and take out 5 more of my chickens. My intent was to leave everyone guessing about the secret weapon. Sassy MJ guessed a harpoon. I just thought that was a little bit of an overkill and suggested that maybe a spear gun would work better. I did not say it was a spear gun. Anyway, I was banned from being on the computer because of the pinched nerve in my neck and the pain it caused in my arm. Now that I am back, WOW, I am a hero! I have done great things, people look up to me, I am the all mighty coon spearing granny.

The truth of the matter is I was just trying to be funny. First I don't own a coon hound, just look below, it says chihuahuas and a sheltie. The chis did tell me that they would take the coon out but I told them to just stay out of the way. The sheltie herded the chis back to the house. I did run to the house after seeing a very distinct carving on one of the rafters. The carving had nothing to do with what I did in the house. I just added that for suspense. When I returned to the barn the coon got what it was asking for and never more will it laugh at me or eat any of my chickens.
MJ you are a bright light in my life, a God send. You are one of the most amazing ladies I have ever met. Now let's get together and write a book.

I am so sorry to let everyone down but had no intent on letting this go so far. Our beloved Sassy MJ just grabbed the ball and ran with it and by the time I got back she had made the touch down all by herself.

God love you hun.

That is hilarious (except for the pinched nerve!!!) But.... we still want to know how you took out the coon! I am so glad you are doing better, Gayle. We really missed you (and we were really worried that you were out taking down all the racoon clans in the state- you and the Monkster!)
