Depends on the time. Will be in Lansing for Maya's therapy until 11, home by 12, then over to Charlotte at 2 for swimming lessons, then back home by 3, then off to Jackson to help a friend with a job!! Should be home in the evening though, probably by 7 ish. Not the lazy day I had today!!

Wow... I, unfortunately, sleep right through thunderstorms...normally. Last night however...

Let's just say that the window was left open and the wind blew the rain straight over on top of me. I pulled the blanket over my head at first because I thought I was dreaming. Then I woke up

Realizing what it was, I jumped up to close the window. Of course, by then my blanket was soaked...

Anyway, good morning to you all, and I hope you had a better night than I did.

Darn it! I took a half day off work so that I could go home and clean out the hen house

Looks like I'll have to do the grocery shopping and running around town instead. I was really looking forward to some quality chicken time

While I'm online... does anyone know of anyone who processes chickens and packages them at the same time? Last year I did 24 meat chickens myself but I'm debating on having them done elsewhere this year. Prior to that I had someone else do them but hubby freaked out when he went to pick them up and they were just floating meat in a vat of water. He wasn't too happy!
