Good morning all. I did manage to get the hen house cleaned out yesterday. Boy was it ever hot and muggy here! I made the mistake of burning all the straw and poo. I'm allergic to it and just happened to get too many wiffs of it yesterday. I was so sick, eyes couldn't even open and couldn't breathe again until this morning. All plans went down the drain once that hit. BUT, at least my babies are clean and cozy again

I did find the stall dry at TSC too. I'm excited to see how much better it will help keep things dryer and not so smelly in there

I hear from everyone else that we had quite a storm? I was so out of it when I hit the hay (8:30) because I was feeling poopy. Can't believe I slept through all that!!!! I LOVE summer storms

Kathy, um, it was storming cats and dogs all night until just about two hours ago here. you really did sleep hard!

it's finally stopped and Rick and James are off to go fishing on the reservoir here. some good old dad and son time.

i'm about to whip up some honey wheat bread. James said i should make a loaf for the gentleman across the road. he is 82. James said it would be a good father's day gift for him because he likes wheat bread. another loaf will go to our carpenter who makes our little Dollhouse Coops. from the chickens off course! the rest for buns for sloppy joes!

well, pull the trigger for the starting gun, here we go.....

Good Morning!! Well we got some of that rain. A lot of that rain. Chickens are liking the puddles. Which is kinda funny.

7691 you are pretty close by. We have cousins in Tecumseh. We are near Maybee in Monroe Co.

MJ, Yummmmy.. I love sloppy joes.

Hi MJ! Hooray for baking! I love the smell of baking bread

Yesterday I pulled a bunch of dill, chives and mint from the garden to hang/dry in the kitchen. I JUST LOVE the scents! Especially in the kitchen.

I saw your ad in Craigslist for your Buttercup. If you end up with a leftover lonely roo I would definitely be interested. I don't want to take a roo away if he can be paired up and sold.

Gotta get the kids up and moving! Got lots to do today.

MJ, where are they going fishing? We have easy access over here unless they're taking a boat. Ed and one of our sons and both of the grandsons went fishing yesterday.

The Honey Wheat bread sounds yummy!

I know there far from you, but i have been very happy with them.

Perhaps but it might just be worth it if I can't find anywhere closer and decide I don't want to do it this year.

THANK YA'!

Hey all hope you are all ok. We have been suppose to get rain all week and it has passed us by, I am glad as we had it the week before and we needed the break.

Well my roo in the hospital pen, got out sometime last night and left the safty of the electric fence. He went walk about and I still haven't found a sign that he even existed, he was meant for the table so who am I to be upset if he wanted to die on a walk about.

Butchering my extra roo's tomorrow, guess he escaped that.

Coyote trapper comes Tuesday and I hope it won't take long to get rid of all in that den. Had my Grandchildren and Grandpups here yesterday and I was on pins and needles watching that woods for any sign that they might be out and about. I tell ya it was no fun, I was really scared to have them outside with that den only about 300 yards away. I have never seen them but sure don't want to see them too late either.

Have a great day
