MJ a question for you, when i picked up the Rouen x magpies, and i got the other 2 girls what did you say there are, i thought you said Sexlink, i just posted them and there saying there Production Reds, is that the same thing

this is a pic of the baby ducks and the Bantam thats been taking care of them, the bantam was one that my broodys hatched out, on 6-25-09 and its so sweet when they take napes or go to bed for the night she opens up her wings and the baby ducks go underneath, so thats making me think she is a she. already has that momma instinct going, i think her mom is Pepper a little black bantam, that likes to set on my shoulder and so does the baby bantam, and the dad is Chester a EE.

Laura, i had Brown Sex links. if i mistakenly gave you Reds, they would be WAY darker, a mahogany color. they would be from byc member 'bargain', her stock.

they are from Ideal and look exactly as they should

a lot of people mistake them though.

they are looking so good, and the ducks too!

Those guys are not only cute, but the kids are all woo'ing all over them so I set them up in the house for now!

What a nice evening. My oldest son had an excellent idea to have dinner outside on the porch. We could use some rain but it is hard to complain when the days are nice and warm and the evenings nice and cool. Great for getting some work done, and playing with the kids. All and all a very nice Monday.

Lol... go figure! I occassionally had chickens or ducks when I lived in Davison, but always dogs and a horse or two. I miss the area and the house but I love Holly. I just wish we had more property to get horses again.

Have fun at MJ's tomorrow. I was there last Thursday. She sure does have a nice set up! Beautiful birds...and her daughter was so cute. I just feel I missed something. Everyone always talks about how they got fed cinnamon rolls or pepporoni rolls or something else good when they go there. I got nothing!

Was it something I said?
