Shelly-What feed did you have the turkeys on? i just have them on layer and I was wondering if they still need a higher protein feed.

FYI, I was strongly warned by Howard not to let Turkeys eat layer feed. If I remember correctly it was because it has a higher calcium level that will wipe out the Turkeys kidneys/liver (can't remember which). I would assume that commercial feed would be similar to his, but not sure????
