prayer and well wish 911 guys for zephyrcreek y'all...she just called on her cell phone and is heading to the ER.

she had mentioned earlier on the thread about not feeling well and thinks her gall bladder may be needing surgery. she is in serious pain and very dehydrated. her surgeon has already been called in to be ready.

Ellen's husband will be calling me with an update asap to let me know the status as soon as there is news.

please say a few prayers and wish her well. she will need them.

Father God, be with Ellen and her family!

I came in from working on the coop to get something cold to drink. As I was sitting here I decided to check out BYC. Read aboujt Zephercreek and of course offered up a prayer on her behalf. The only problem is that as a little kid I got in the habit of saying prayers at night as I got read for bed. I wonder if praying in the daytime is why I now am thinking about traking a nap.

We have the stomach bug/ virus thing at our house. #3 got sick first and she is my drama queen, so never know how much is true and how much is acting.

Well it was true! #2 got it last night. (2 days apart)
Symptoms are: severe headache, neck ache and over all body aches. fever, both girls threw up once at 3am. ( I find this interesting) and the fever didn't start until after the visit to the porcieln god.

My oldest has been crabby all day, she is NOT wanting to get it!

okay, back from the doctor's appt. y'all are so not gonna believe this.
not only am i still on the low end for my potassium, still have a UTI but....i have SHINGLES!!!! gimme a little break.

i guess i have the right to be exhausted still. keep praying and holding me up y'all.

haven't heard from Ellen's hubby yet. i'm waiting with the phone close by. i know God is watching over her.

Well, welcome to my world MJ! I had a stress fracture on a toe on my right foot which went undiagnosed (my fault - just thought it was sore!

) - for 2 months - then I ended up with shingles on my arms - I was SHOCKED! Told the dermie that was my Grannie issue, not mine! She laughed and said she's seen cases as young as 16~~!
Take care and take your medication and try to relax! Personally, I didn't feel stressed at all - and then I had another outbreak about 2 months later! Have been shingle free for about 5 months! Fortunately it never went anywhere else but my arms! Lifting you in prayer!

Shingles are not fun!!! I will keep praying for you, and I told the kids to also. At least you have some diagnoses to go with the funk you are feeling. Have you been drinking your cranberry juice for the uti's? I have also read that raw garlic is mother natures antibiotics and have used it myself when I was not feeling perky. I think it may have helped a bit. Unfortunately, I was not able to verify this by asking anyone, as who would want to hang out after you have eaten a whole clove of garlic.

Saying prayers for Ellen. Man, we all gotta get healthy!! No getting sick for Fowl Fest, as I am planning on trying to go and to meet some of you all.
Maybe we should all eat garlic until it's time for Fowl Fest.

Seriously, shingles can just about drive a person crazy with the itching and many times severe pain. Hopefully yours isn't a full blow case and you get over them quickly.
